5 Car Shopping Helps

Take some tips from an experienced shopper's lessons!!! (yes learn from my mistakes)

1. Identify what you must have and your options. SUV vs Sedan, Sexy vs Sporty. Then there is the price! Fuel Ecomony. Sun roof, GPS, or just a plain Jane (or Joe)!

2. Do some research online before you get to the lot. Check reviews, standard and option equipment, market value. Get quotes online. 

3. Go take your favorite ride to a spin! But a warning....ff you fall in love---don't show it. You might not get such a good deal from the sales guy (or girl) if they already know they have you at the "hello"! 

Vow NOT to buy the car the same day!

4. Money smarts....Apply for a loan at your local credit union which is usually lower interest than anywhere else. Ask for disclosure of all fees, before you go in front of the "signing man".  Is that price on the clear-coat worth it to you? Car alarm, car theft tracking??

5. Make a deal! You do it! Bargain for it. Negogaite UP from the true market value, Not down from the sticker value. Tell him you are shopping around today for the best deal, but will buy tomorrow. The salesperson will work harder to get you the car you love at the price you love!
